Terms of Service

By creating an account and using English Speaklya, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use English Speaklya.

2. Your Account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person. Impersonating someone else is not allowed.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
• You may delete your own account at any time from Settings → Delete Account — this permanently removes your data and cannot be undone.

3. Code of Conduct

When talking with other users, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Share sexually explicit, hateful, or illegal content
• Use English Speaklya for any purpose other than English practice conversation
• Attempt to hack, spam, or disrupt the service
• Ask other users for money, passwords, or sensitive personal information

Violating these rules may result in account suspension without refund. Use the Block and Report features if another user violates these rules.

4. Meeting Strangers

English Speaklya matches you with people you don't already know, based on filters you choose. We do not run background checks on users and cannot guarantee the identity, age, or intentions of anyone you're matched with. You are solely responsible for your own safety and conduct during calls and chats — use good judgment, and never share information you wouldn't want a stranger to have.

5. Premium Subscriptions & Payments

• Premium plans (Weekly / Monthly) unlock gender and country filters and the "Offer to Talk" feature.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal. Prices are shown before you confirm payment.
• Premium access is granted only after payment is verified — it does not renew automatically unless stated otherwise at checkout.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us via Help & Support.

6. Calls & Communication

Calls are made directly between users wherever possible, using your device's microphone, and may be relayed through a connectivity provider (see our Privacy Policy) when a direct connection isn't possible. We do not record or store call audio. You are responsible for your own conduct during calls.

7. Star Ratings

Stars are earned automatically based on total minutes talked, as configured by English Speaklya. Attempting to manipulate call duration or minutes is a violation of these terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using English Speaklya and log out, or delete your account, at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

English Speaklya is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. By using English Speaklya, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for your own conduct, safety, and decisions when interacting with other users, on and off the platform.
• English Speaklya does not screen, background-check, or verify the identity, age, or intentions of users beyond what's described in this document, and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any user's profile information.
• English Speaklya, its owner, and operators are not liable for any harm, loss, dispute, injury, or damage — direct or indirect — arising from your use of the platform or your interactions with other users, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• If you feel unsafe or experience abusive behavior, use the Block and Report features immediately, and contact local authorities if you believe you're in danger — English Speaklya is a conversation-practice tool, not a safety or emergency service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of English Speaklya after changes means you accept the updated terms.
